In the 2015 municipal elections in Los Palacios there was another historic result and Juan Manuel del Valle revalidated the local government, even achieving an absolute majority with 10,340 supports54.11% of the total valid votes cast in the municipality.
In the 2019 elections, Valle repeated the absolute majority by obtaining 11 of the 21 councilors, 48.51% of the votes. This time he did it under the umbrella of the formation Left and Progress-Izquierda Unida Andalucia-Adelante (Forward). Participation in Los Palacios and Villafranca in 2019 was 64.13%, 2 points less than that reached in 2015: 66.32%, 14% less than in 2011: 78.81%.
The number of people who exercised their right to vote was 18,667. Abstention rose to 35.87%. There were 227 invalid votes and 162 blank.
