Left-handed Alfonso Didone arrives at Genea Lanzara

To strengthen the left-handed players available to the coach Jose Luis Villanueva Lopez for the Genea Lanzara there will be a right back Alfonso Dido. The very young class of 2006, born in Grosseto and grew up in the ranks of the Follonica Handballis coming from a two-year experience with Campus Italia, where he performed excellently, showing off in both sports seasons, as well as from his recent participation in the M18 EHF EURO in Montenegro. Technical-tactical versatility, athletic and physical skills, and a desire to carve out an important space for himself in the handball that counts, give mister Villanueva an interesting profile on which to invest a massive dose of profitable work.

«I am very happy to join Genea Lanzara, to begin this new journey – Alfonso Didone makes his debut – and give my all in this new season. The reasons that pushed me to accept Lanzara’s proposal are many, certainly the corporate line considering that it is a club that focuses a lot on young people, despite playing a high-level championship and therefore aware of being able to find my space on the field, as well as the possibility of working with a coach of considerable experience like Villanueva. I am also very confident in the club’s project, in recent years it has been growing a lot and achieving increasingly important results. I feel I can give a lot to this group, using my technical skills that I have strengthened over the two years spent at Campus Italia. I think the group is really competitive and can get back to the top of the rankings to try to play the Promotion PlayOffs. Alfonso Dido, Matias Galan, Santiago Bernert, Christian Cuzzi, Mattia Chirivi Grassi e Tomas Bernachea are the new faces in the ranks of the rossoblu club, close to their debut in Serie A Silver which will take place on Saturday 21st September, in front of their home crowd at Palestra Palumbo: the newly promoted team will be the guest Belluno Handball.
