Left behind, the Bianconeri finally win!

Juventus managed to beat Sassuolo 1-2 in continued Liga Italy. This victory was obtained after the Bianconeri fell behind first.

Sassuolo vs Juventus took place at the Mapei Stadium, Tuesday (26/4/2022) early morning WIB. The Neroverdi were able to take the lead through Giacomo Raspadori before being matched by Paulo Dybala just before half-time.

Sassuolo actually appeared very troublesome for Juventus. While engrossed in pressing, Sassuolo even conceded a goal through Moise Kean, which made Juventus win 2-1.

This victory makes Juventus collect 66 points in fourth place in the Italian League standings. Sassuolo are 10th with 46 points.

The course of the match

Sassuolo appear aggressive against Juventus. Alessio Dionisi’s men were quite threatening with a diagonal bait game into the Juventus penalty box and the penetration of the players.

Sassuolo’s first attempt that led to the new Juventus goal came in the 25th minute. Domenico Berardi fired from outside the penalty box, but Wojciech Szczesny was still quick to stem the ball.

Three minutes later it was Juventus’ turn to shoot at the first goal. Paulo Dybala had a spoofed shot from the middle of the pitch and the ball’s weak pace was overcome by goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

It was Gianluca Scamacca’s turn to threaten the Juventus goal in the 33rd minute. He fired a shot from inside the penalty box and could be blocked by Szczesny.

Sassuolo was able to lead 1-0 first in the 38th minute. The scoring process started with Giorgos Kyriakopoulos who provided Domenico Berardi in the penalty area, who then fed Giacomo Raspadori to convert it into a goal with a left footed shot.

Juventus equalized the score 1-1 before halftime. Paulo Dybala curled a left-footed shot inside the box that glided smoothly into the Sassuolo goal.

The Bianconeri tried to appear attacking early in the second half. Alvaro Morata threatened the Sassuolo goal in the 48th minute with a header.

A minute later, Sassuolo tried to bang. Mert Muldur fired a shot from outside the penalty box, but the pace of the ball was still weak and Szczesny was able to secure it.

Szczesny made another save in the 58th minute. He secured the Juventus goal after stopping Davide Frattesi’s header.

Juventus seemed to have lost control again after sip at the beginning of the second half. Sassuolo was able to linger in possession of the ball to make Juventus wait more in their own territory.

After continuing to be pressed, Juventus was finally able to surprise the hosts in the 88th minute. A long ball from the defense was met by Adrien Rabiot’s header, which was directed at Moise Kean.

The player on loan from Everton then penetrated into the penalty box. Kean’s shot was released and successfully brought Juventus back to lead 2-1.
