Leet | They really listened to the feedback

The community welcomed the refinement, it was necessary.

The developers completely surprised users at the Call of Duty NEXT event in mid-September. In addition to the Warzone and DMZ announcements, some Modern Warfare II news was also unveiled before the beta arrived, which may not have been expected by many. Among them was the arrival of modes that support TPS camera view, which players could already try out during the test period.

It wasn’t a bad idea, but we think the implementation is also left to be desired. Our character immediately switched to the FPS view after pressing the ADS button, so the charm of the recent development was already lost during the firefights. If we wanted to shoot smoothly, without aiming, the gun would subconsciously scatter, so that wasn’t a suitable option either.

Fortunately the developers have been paying attention to the feedback, the TPS mode is changing!

A few hours ago an Instagram post went live, where Activision engineers called our attention to a major change. The mechanics of ADS have been changed for the October 28th release, which will be much more enjoyable. From now on, our character will switch to the FPS view only if we have mounted a 4x or better sight on the weapon. Otherwise we will stay in TPS, but now we will grind precisely. This is perhaps the best possible solution that could come from the beta experience. Gamers were surprised that the programmers listened to the community on such a level, so it’s no surprise that the post received a very positive reception.

Will you give the TPS view a chance?
