We did not receive any new content with the hotfix.

As expected, the developers of Rainbow Six Siege came up with the first hotfix update called Y7S2.1. The innovations are usually implemented with the second major package, so this time we can only read about bug fixes.

Let’s also see what bugs Ubisoft’s engineers managed to patch up!

  • The drones will now spawn at the selected location
  • From now on, the windows behind the barricade won’t break if you throw the barricade itself with some disposable object
  • Several animation bugs have been fixed by the developers
  • From now on, a melee hit will not be enough to destroy the attack devices mounted on the Castle Armor Panel
  • Several maps have been patched by developers, with Chalet and Emerald Plains at the forefront
  • ROU Projector is no longer back on the field after destroying himself
  • From now on, we can also see ROU Projector correctly in the replay of matches
  • From now on, explosive items installed on Mira’s Black Mirror won’t kill players through / behind Black Mirror
  • Nomad’s Airjab will not return to the field after being destroyed
  • Several UI / UX bugs have been fixed by the developers
  • Several bugs related to Spectate view have also been fixed

The update will arrive on all platforms by 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon, it is worth calculating with the following dimensions:

  • Ubisoft Connect: 2.03 GB
  • Steam: 2.3 GB
  • Xbox One: 2.8 GB
  • Xbox Series X: 3.4 GB
  • PS4: 2.4 GB
  • PS5: 2.2 GB
