Leem launches a “Digital Health Academy” to train industry employees in digital technology

“Digital has become strategic” and “an element of innovation like science”, underlined the president of Leem, Frédéric Collet, in the introduction to the inauguration.

Its advantages “for the discovery of molecules, the manufacturing and the patient journey” require “acculturating all employees” so that “everyone is more agile”.

“The objective is to develop skills and innovation in health by pooling the experiences, knowledge and resources of companies to produce new services adapted to the entire sector, regardless of the level of maturity or size of the actors”, summarized the Leem in a press release issued on April 14.

Health industries claim 300,000 employees in France, according to the press release. The idea of this academy was initiated by Frédéric Collet’s predecessor, Philippe Tcheng.

It provides a training offer, conferences and an “innovation hub” accessible for an annual subscription or according to a price per training.

The courses have been designed with Telecom Executive Education, the Cat University
