Leeds United hope to keep Marcelo Bielsa at the club beyond the end of the season, but a decision has yet to be made.
The Argentine has given fans an entertaining first season in the Premier League, but his contract expires this summer, and it is unclear whether or not he will return.
If I had to guess I would assume he will be back for at least another year, but Victor Orta wouldn’t be doing his job if he wasn’t looking for potential replacements.
Tuttomercatoweb now claims that meetings have been held between Leeds and representatives of Paulo Fonseca, most likely his agent Marco Abreu.

Crystal Palace, Napoli and Nice are believed to be interested as well, but links to Leeds suggest that he is one of the names to be searched should Bielsa leave.
The big news came on Tuesday when Roma confirmed that Fonscea will step down as their coach this summer and will be replaced by José Mourinho.
So who is Fonseca and what could Leeds fans expect if he ends up moving to Elland Road?
The 48-year-old had a somewhat nomadic stage in Portugal, going from Aves to Pacos de Ferreira to Porto, back to Pacos de Ferreira and Braga, all in four years.

Fonseca’s most impressive role so far has been with Shakhtar Donetsk, where he lost just 17 of his 139 games in charge in all competitions, winning three league titles in the process.
The Mozambique-born coach is a forward-thinking coach who has implemented an engaging style of play, which is why Orta looks to him as a possible successor to Bielsa.
What’s interesting is that Fonseca admitted last month that he had been watching Leeds and his man-to-man style under Bielsa, suggesting that it is a difficult style to take on.
Fonseca is unlikely to be out of work for long, and having been available on Tuesday, he may well be near the top of Leeds’ list, but they still expect good news from Bielsa first.
