Jonathan Christie eliminated from the event BWF World Championships 2023. It lost two straight gyms from Lee Zi Jia in the first half 21-13,21-15.

Chico won 21-7, 21-7. The ninth seed, Prannoy HS, had been waiting for him in the second round.
