Lee Woo-seok will team up with Oh Jin-hyuk (Hyundai Steel) and Kim Je-deok (Gyeongbuk Yecheon County Office) to hunt for the gold medal in the quarterfinals of the men’s archery team recurve event held at the archery range at the Fuyang Inhu Sports Center in Hangzhou, China at 8:40 a.m. on the 6th.
The quarterfinal opponent for Korean men’s archery is Japan.
Lee Woo-seok, who won two silver medals at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games, where he participated as a soldier, shared a gold medal with Im Si-hyun (Korea National Sport University) in the recurve mixed event on the 4th.
Afterwards, Lee Woo-seok will face Ilfat Abdullin (Kazakhstan) in the individual bronze medal match on the 7th.
In addition, Korea, led by coach Shin Seok-kyo, will play against China in the men’s hockey 3rd and 4th place match to be held at the Gungsu Canal Sports Park in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China on the 6th.
Korea, which attempted to return to the top of the Asian Games 17 years after the 2006 Doha Asian Games, failed to achieve its goal by losing 3-5 to India in the semifinals on the 4th.
