Former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon visited the tomb of former President Kim Dae-jung in Dongjak National Cemetery in Seoul as the first external schedule after returning to Korea.
On the morning of the 28th, former CEO Lee visited DJ Cemetery with Seol-hoon and Yoon Young-chan, a member of the Democratic Party.
After visiting the shrine, he met with reporters and said, “President Kim Dae-jung is the starting point of my politics. That’s why I came here to greet you when I left the country a year ago, so I came to greet you back home.”
He added, “First of all, I will say hello to the place where I will greet you. We are currently deciding (our course) to go there.”
When asked about the current situation of the Democratic Party and the meaning of the statement “I will fulfill my responsibilities” when entering the country, I did not say anything.
Although the specific schedule has not yet been confirmed, former CEO Lee is expected to digest the schedule of visiting former President Moon Jae-in and Bongha Village.
