Representative Lee is accused of causing damage to Seongnam City by giving various preferential treatment to private businessmen in the process of developing the site of the former Korea Food Research Institute in Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu in 2014-2015 when he was Seongnam Mayor.

The prosecution is expected to prepare a total of 250 pages of questionnaires and ask whether Lee agreed to or participated in various changes in license conditions.

Previously, in a summary of the five-page prosecution statement released on social media the day before yesterday (15th), CEO Lee denied the suspicion, saying, “It was an order from former President Park Geun-hye and a request from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.”
