The Baekhyeon-dong suspicion is that Seongnam City gave preferential treatment to a private operator during the 2015 Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, former Korea Food Research Institute site development project.
Specifically, the use of natural green areas was upgraded to a quasi-residential area in the 4th stage, the ratio of private rental apartments, which had been 100%, was reduced to 10%, and as the participation of Seongnam Urban Development finally failed, private businesses gained 300 billion won in pre-sale profits. Suspicion.
Prosecutors believe that Chairman Jeong Mo, the largest shareholder of the developer, delivered a complaint to Jeong Jin-sang, then head of the Seongnam City Policy Office, through Kim In-seop, former CEO of Korea Housing Technology, who was from Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myung’s camp.
In particular, the prosecution’s view is that Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myung was involved in this process.
Representative Lee refuted the allegations by releasing a summary of the five-page prosecution statement through social media the day before the day before the attendance.
Representative Lee emphasized, “The change of use of Baekhyeon-dong was in accordance with the instructions of former President Park Geun-hye and the request of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the country enjoyed the benefits.”

Representative Lee is scheduled to announce a statement to the effect of refuting the allegations in front of reporters ahead of the prosecution’s investigation today.
