[OSEN=연휘선 기자] Actors Lee Dong-hwi and Kim Jong-soo of the movie ‘Dr. Chun’ captivated listeners of ‘Cultwo Show’.
Lee Dong-hwi and Kim Jong-soo, the two main characters from the movie ‘Dr. Cheon’s Exorcism Lab: The Secret of the Snow Scene (abbreviated as Dr. Cheon)’, appeared as guests on SBS Radio Power FM’s ‘2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show (abbreviated as Cultwo Show)’, which aired this afternoon (4th). We talked about the work.
‘Dr. Cheon’ is a film that begins when Dr. Cheon (Kang Dong-won), a fake exorcist who does not believe in ghosts but has ghost-like insight, is commissioned to handle a powerful case he has never experienced before. Lee Dong-hwi plays the role of In-bae, Dr. Cheon’s partner, and Kim Jong-soo plays the role of Hwang, the owner of an antique store who has a long relationship with Dr. Cheon.
Prior to this work, Lee Dong-hwi was well-received for his role as Jeong-pal in the Disney+ original drama ‘Casino’. In particular, the ending in which Jeong-pal betrays the main character Cha Moo-sik (Choi Min-sik) was sad. Regarding this, Lee Dong-hwi joked, “Everyone who passes by looks at me and says, ‘Jung-pal, why did you do that?'” and added, “In fact, I have a good relationship with senior Choi Min-sik.”
As the work and character changed, Lee Dong-hwi’s visuals also changed. Lee Dong-hwi, who boasted a flashy suit, almost long hair, and a beard, showed off a neater visual in ‘Dr. In response, Lee Dong-hwi expressed humility, saying, “I took it all away because of the work. I became a little more detached.” ‘Cultwo Show’ special DJ Kwak Beom added, “I’m following actor Lee Dong-hwi on social media, and he’s definitely become clearer. His skin is glowing, too.”
In addition, ‘Dr. Chun’ is attracting attention with its spectacular cameo lineup. Jisoo, a member of the popular girl group Blackpink, even made a special appearance as a fairy.
In relation to this, Kim Jong-su revealed a special relationship with Ji Soo. He said, “After hearing the story, he texted Jisoo and asked, ‘Have you seen the scenario?’ Jisoo said she had only heard the story and hadn’t seen it yet, so he said hello and said he would see her on set.” In response to the surprised reactions of those around him, he asked, “Is it really that surprising?” and explained, “I developed a close relationship with Jisoo through my previous work, ‘Snowdrop.’ We also keep in touch on a personal level.”
In fact, he even received an invitation to a Blackpink concert. Kim Jong-su was amazed, saying, “I’ve never been to a place like that before. I went standing and waved the light stick,” and he chose Jisoo’s solo song ‘Flower’ as his favorite Blackpink song, creating a warm feeling.
