Actor Lee Do-hyun’s side announced their position regarding the rumors of military enlistment in the first half of the year, saying, “The date of enlistment has not yet been set.”
An official from Yuehua Entertainment, Lee Do-hyun’s agency, revealed this to News 1 on the 2nd and said, “As it is a natural duty, I will tell you as soon as it is confirmed.”
Lee Do-hyun was born in 1995 and is 28 years old this year. He made his debut in the tvN drama ‘Prison Playbook’, showed impressive acting in ‘Hotel Del Luna’ (2019) and made his mark as a ‘rising star’. Since then, he has gained great popularity by starring in dramas such as ’18 Again’ (2020), ‘Sweet Home’ (2020), ‘Youth in May’ (2021) and ‘Melancholia’ (2021).
Recently, in the Netflix original drama ‘The Glory’ in collaboration with Song Hye-kyo, he played the male protagonist Joo Yeo-jeong (Lee Dong-hyun) who helps the female lead Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo), and hit another peak in popularity. Part 2 of ‘The Glory’ is about to be released on March 10th.
