More than 2 heirs lead to ruin! If the testator leaves no will or if this is not clearly formulated, this can have serious consequences for the heirs. Communities of heirs often fight for years about the distribution of the estate and the tax office levies inheritance taxes. It is not uncommon for estate properties to have to be auctioned off or family businesses to be sold or liquidated.
Asset succession should therefore be well thought out. Wills and contracts of inheritance are essential and should be designed in such a way that disputes and taxes can be avoided as far as possible. Lifetime transfers by way of anticipated succession are often recommended.
The lecture shows what needs to be considered here using practical examples and interesting court decisions.
The lecture will take place in the adult education center Leinfelden, Am Neuer Markt, seminar room 1, 7.00 – 8.30 p.m.
