Leclerc will often be too greedy

Christijan Albers sees Charles Leclerc often becoming greedy on the racetrack.

The Monaco pilot started the Miami Grand Prix, but in the end he only finished in second place. He couldn’t do anything about Max Verstappen, though the safety car phase gave him a chance to overtake his opponent.

The Dutch ex-rider said Monaco could not win on Sunday due to his own fault. In the last third of the race, he had every chance to defeat the leading Verstappen.

“After the Safety Car phase, he had the opportunity to overtake Max. He got close to him and was faster than him. The DRS also helped him. However, a trend can be observed at Leclerc. He always gets too greedy, so he overdrives himself. We have seen this in the second sector as well. ” – he said Albers.

Ferrari secured the first line on the time trial, but it also required Verstappen’s fault. In the race, however, Red Bull’s superiority was demonstrated.

“He (Verstappen) got along well. Your car got faster and faster. Leclerc really needed the safety car, otherwise he wouldn’t have come close to it. ”
