The Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James became the second player to reach 38,000 points in his NBA career, only behind the historic Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, despite the loss of his Lakers (113-112) against the Philadelphia 76ers.
James reached the 38,000 career point mark in the first quarter, before finishing the game with 35 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, with his record 38,387 points, scored more than LeBron in NBA history.
According to various forecasts and depending on the scoring average of the powerful leader of the Lakers, he could surpass Abdul-Jabbar’s record and become the highest scoring player in the NBA next February.
