Before he heads into his 22nd season in the NBA, star Los Angeles LakersLeBron James, spoke about the legacy he wants to leave not only as a player but as a person while acknowledging that he feels he is getting too old for the sport.
In an appearance on The Shop podcast, “King James” who recently won the men’s basketball gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with Team USA, let it be known that his sports retirement is growing closer and closer to 39 years old.
“I’m very old in terms of basketball, but I’m very young in life. So I still have a lot more work to do.”he said as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer hopes to be remembered in the world outside of tight sports.
LeBron James recently participated in The Shop podcast in which he showed his most human side.
“Every once in a while I think how I would like them to remember me and I hope it’s not just because of basketball. “If people only talked about sports, I would have failed in my mission.”explained the NBA star who is struggling to leave his victory outside the court.
LeBron James This coming season he will fulfill one of his dreams by being able to play with his son “Bronny” with the Lakers, it shows that there are other important qualities for him when it comes to able to keep people referring to the sign that he is leaving.
“The things I do in my community, how Savannah and I raised our children, my relationship with my single mother, my relationship with my boys, helping my people in my hometown .”lists the star of the fifth Los Angeles, showing his most human side.

“If those conversations don’t reach the hair salon, people’s emails, blogs, forums, whatever, I feel like my mission is incomplete. “said LeBron, who signed an extension for two more seasons with the Lakers a few months ago.
Although he recognizes that time does not pass in vain, the star is ready to continue to contribute to the highest level with his team and his performance in the last Olympic Games is proof of this by being selected as the MVP of the basketball tournament.
At 39 years old, LeBron James was the undisputed leader of the Dream Team that won the gold medal for the fifth consecutive Olympic Games by finishing a performance with an average of 14.2 points per game (the highest of an American team), 8.2 rebounds and 10.2 assists.
