Everytime that LeBron James speaks, there is always some controversy, and in the atmosphere of the National Basketball Association (NBA) they know it, even more so when being a player of Los Angeles Lakers harshly criticized the fans of his arch-rival Boston Celtics.
This happened in his most recent appearance on the podcast The Shopsame instance where he referred to the arrest in Russia of the WNBA player, Brittney Grinerwhere when he was consulted by the place where he least liked to go to play a game, he did not hesitate for a moment.
And although LeBron during the past seasons experienced incidents with fans of Atlanta Hawks e Indiana Pacerswhom he forced to be taken out of the stadium, acknowledged that the most hostile site he has faced in the NBA is the TD Gardenthe home of the Celtics.
LeBron’s particular definition of Celtics fans
Asked about his rejection of Boston, the Akron-born responded emphatically that “because they are very racist. They will say anything. And it’s OK. It’s my fucking life, I’ve been dealing with it my whole life. I don’t mind. I hear it. If I hear someone nearby, I check very quickly and then immediately go to the game. They will say whatever they want to say at all times.”.
LeBron’s words do nothing but reaffirm what happened in the last NBA Finals 2022, where players from Golden State Warriorsas Klay Thompson y Draymond Green, They received insults from Celtics fans, although to be honest, this story goes back a long time.
