Famous Lakers basketball player LeBron James and golfer Tiger Woods have officially become billionaires according to Forbes magazine.

If twelve personalities from the world of sport have been officially declared billionaires by the famous magazine this year, LeBron James and Tiger Woods are the only sportsmen still in activity to join this unprecedented ranking.

Made public on April 4, Forbes magazine took into account the net worth (after taxes) of these two American stars. With 1.1 billion dollars net, the famous golfer Tiger Woods and the basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers with his fortune estimated at 1 billion dollars join other sportsmen already declared billionaires such as Lionel Messi, Roger Federer or Michael Jordan to not cite only those.

Woods and James are respectively 10th and 11th in this new official ranking. It should be noted that the fortune of these American celebrities takes into account their sporting exploits, their ancillary income (equipment supplier and advertising) or their investments (real estate, entertainment, franchise).
