The Cairo International Film Festival, in its 44th session, held a press conference for Egyptian actress Lebleba on Wednesday, after she was honored at the festival opening last Sunday with the “Lifetime Achievement” award for all her cinematic oeuvre .
In the symposium moderated by director Amir Ramses, Lebleba expressed her happiness at being awarded at the 44th Cairo International Film Festival, after her long career in film, television and entertainment.
The head of the Cairo Film Festival, the artist Hussein Fahmy, in his speech on Lebleba, drew attention to his great artistic history, which deserves appreciation and celebration.
Lebleba said during the symposium that the artist, Anwar Wagdy, heard about her and decided to see her in a performance inside one of the theaters where she works in Alexandria.
Lebleba added that he had many artistic experiences with directors who made a difference in his artistic career, especially: Atef El Tayeb, Samir Seif, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Youssef Chahine and others, and he learned a lot from them, which l ‘has helped in his continued development in his work.
A number of artists also attended the symposium, notably artist Elham Shaheen, Syrian artist Solaf Fawakherji, artist Mahmoud Hamida, Muhammad Al-Adl, Rakeen Saad, Khaled Abdel-Jalil, cinematographer Mohsen Ahmed.
