Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, is therefore under immense pressure not to become involved in the war with Israel.
Moreover, a war with Israel could also mean that the US decides to attack Hezbollah, and the militant group knows that it may not be able to survive a direct encounter with the Americans. The Hezbollah CEO may have spoken harshly after the drone attack in Beirut, but the chance that action will be taken is small.
