Postponing the municipal elections in Lebanon for the second time in two years… What are the reasons?
The Lebanese Parliament decided to postpone the municipal and elective elections that were to be held next month. This postponement is the second in two years, and reflects the depth of the political crisis in the country. Municipal elections are held every six years, but the last time they were actually held was in 2016.
