The head of the Syndicate of Lebanese Doctors said in an intervention to the Cairo News channel, “Hospitals saw a catastrophic situation yesterday and some of them asked medical teams to do their work in several specialties, especially the southern region , where they aimed at. homes inside villages and the greatest number of martyrs and wounded.”

He said that there is an emergency cell under the umbrella that everyone from the World Health Organization and the International Red Cross is working, and the Ministry of Health is trying to provide medicines and equip intensive care units, especially with the support that came from several countries, and the Lebanese Red Cross Society distributes blood units to the hospitals that need them.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Health has promised to cover the financial costs for the continued operation of hospitals, as there are signs that the crisis will expand and that the attacks will continue. Communication has also been made with international organizations and associations that working with health, who have expressed their willingness to return to Lebanon, because there is an international will to help.
