The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected that the weather tomorrow will be partly cloudy with a slight drop in temperature in the mountainous areas, while it will rise slightly in the interior regions and remain unmodified on the coast with a slight decrease in humidity and the continuation of fog formation. Sometimes dense at medium elevations.

The following newsletter stated:

– The general situation: the effect of hot and humid air masses stationed over the Arabian Peninsula continues on Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, where temperatures remain high, especially in the interior regions (above their averages within 7 degrees) with the humidity remaining high, which increases the feeling of heat in the coastal areas. With the rise in minimum temperatures, which makes the perceived temperature above 40 degrees during the night, and sporadic drizzle is expected due to the high humidity, its frequency will decrease relatively during the weekend, and its effect is expected to intensify again, starting next Tuesday.

We warn of the risk of fires breaking out in forested areas, and we recommend drinking plenty of water and avoiding exposure to sunlight during peak hours.

The average temperature in Beirut for the month of August ranged between 25 and 33 degrees Celsius, and in Zahle between 18 and 35 degrees Celsius.

– The expected weather in Lebanon:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with heavy fog at times at medium heights without a significant change in temperatures indoors and on the coast, while it rises slightly over the mountains with high humidity remaining, especially on the coast, where the feeling of heat increases, and sporadic drizzle is expected in the southern regions. As of the afternoon.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a slight decrease in temperatures in the mountainous areas, while it rises slightly in the interior areas and remains unchanged on the coast with a slight decrease in humidity and the persistence of heavy fog formation at times at medium heights.

Friday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures indoors and on the coast, with the return of the rise in humidity, which maintains a sense of heat while it rises slightly in the mountainous areas and the continuation of fog formation on the heights, and drizzle is expected in the northern regions during the night.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperature in the interior and coastal areas, with high humidity remaining while it decreases in mountainous areas. Sporadic drizzle is expected in the northern regions during the morning and evening periods.

– The temperature on the coast from 28 to 32 degrees, above the mountains from 23 to 30 degrees, in the interior from 20 to 44 degrees.

Surface winds: southwest during the day, south at night, speed between 10 and 25 km / h.

– Sweeping: Medium on the coast, worse at higher altitudes due to fog and high humidity.

– Relative humidity on the coast: between 75 and 90%.

– Sea condition: rampage to low, water surface temperature: 30 degrees.

Atmospheric pressure: 756 mm Hg

– Sunrise hour: 6:00

Sunset hour: 19:25
