Lebanon Weather Forecast: Significant Rise in Temperatures and Potential Light Rain in the Southern Regions

The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon announced in the evening weather bulletin that relatively stable and warm weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean during the next two days, with a significant rise in temperatures, especially tomorrow, Wednesday, as they exceed their seasonal rates, with some local fluctuations and light rain in the eastern and southern regions. Eastern Province during the period from Wednesday evening until Thursday afternoon due to the influence of a low air pressure centered over Egypt and then returns to stability until the end of the week.

She pointed out that the average temperature for the month of December in Beirut is between 13 and 21 degrees, in Tripoli between 10 and 19 degrees, and in Zahle between 4 and 14 degrees.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to partly cloudy with medium and high clouds, with a significant rise in temperatures, exceeding their seasonal averages, and active winds carrying light layers of dust, especially in the southern regions, with low humidity during the day, turning cloudy in the evening, especially in the southern and interior regions, with light rain falling. Scattered at night and fog.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and a significant drop in temperatures so that they return to their seasonal levels. Drizzle falls sporadically during the morning in the interior areas. The weather stabilizes during the day and the winds are active at times.

Friday: Partly cloudy to few clouds with fog in the highlands, with no significant change in temperatures on the coast, while they rise slightly in the mountainous and inland areas.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with stable temperatures.
