“Lebanon Weather Forecast: Hot Air Masses and Dust to Affect Eastern Mediterranean”

The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that “Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean will be gradually affected by hot air masses originating from Egypt and the Arabian Gulf, which lead to a noticeable rise in temperatures and the appearance of dust in the atmosphere due to an air depression centered over Libya, until Thursday, which will recede Gradually on Friday, with the return of temperatures to decrease and return to their seasonal rates.

She pointed out that “the average temperature for the month of May is between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius.”

The expected weather in Lebanon:

Thursday: Slightly cloudy to cloudy with medium and high clouds, with an additional rise in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and internal areas, where they exceed seasonal levels, and the appearance of dust remains in the air with a relatively high humidity on the coast, which leads to poor visibility at times and the possibility of cloudy weather starting in the afternoon. With fog at mid-elevations.

Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with medium and high clouds, with a gradual and noticeable drop in temperatures as they return to their seasonal levels, and it is possible for sporadic drizzle in the mountainous areas, as fog forms on the heights with active winds from the afternoon.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a sharp decrease in temperatures, as they become below their seasonal rates.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with fog on the heights, with no change in temperatures, which remain below average for the month of May.
