The Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected that the weather tomorrow will be cloudy to partly cloudy with fog at medium heights and a rise in temperatures, especially indoors (to exceed their averages by at least 4 degrees as a maximum temperature) and in the northern coastal areas.
The following bulletin stated:

– The general situation: the effect of the hot air masses currently concentrated over the Arabian Peninsula continues on Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, reaching its peak on Wednesday and Thursday, and accompanied by a high humidity as a result of the rise in the temperature of the Mediterranean water to 29 degrees and the direction of the southwest winds hot and saturated with moisture coming from North Africa that drives moisture towards the coastal areas, which increases the feeling of heat and continues until Saturday, when its effect diminishes.

Warning: We warn of the danger of fires breaking out in forested areas and of exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours. We recommend drinking plenty of fluids and wearing cotton clothes.

The Meteorological Department also denies the information circulating about the temperature reaching 45 degrees on the first of August and calls on the media to take observational information and weather forecasts from their correct and official sources.

Note: The average temperature for July ranges between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius in Beirut.
The average temperature for July ranges between 18 and 34 degrees Celsius in Zahle.
