The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) confirmed that they launched airstrikes today against Hezbollah positions in eastern Lebanon. In particular, Israeli warplanes hit Hezbollah infrastructure on the outskirts of Baalbek, in the Bekaa Valley, which is about 100 kilometers from the border with Israel.
“Earlier this evening, fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) hit important Hezbollah infrastructure that houses the terrorist organization’s air defense systems, in the northern part of Baalbek,” the statement said.

Hezbollah wound in northern Israel
It was preceded by an attack by Hezbollah with rockets and drones in northern Israel that caused the injury of 14 Israeli soldiers, six of them seriously.
Hezbollah announced that it fired missiles and drones at an Israeli military installation in Arab al-Aramse in response to Israel’s killing of Hezbollah members and commanders in Lebanon.
