“The Israeli Air Force carried out a precision strike on Hezbollah’s headquarters in the Lebanese capital of Beirut a while ago”Israeli army spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said shortly before 19:00.
He said the headquarters was built under buildings where civilians lived in the suburb of Dahiyeh, a stronghold of the Shiite group.
The attack came shortly after Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly, in which the Israeli Prime Minister laid out his government’s strategy, which is none other than the continuation of the massacre in Gaza and Lebanon, but also the threats against Iran.

According to Israeli media, the strike in Beirut occurred during Netanyahu’s press conference after his speech to the General Assembly, which was interrupted by his military secretary, Lt. Gen. Roman Goffman. According to Israeli media, Goffman appeared out of nowhere, approached Netanyahu while he was speaking, whispered something in his ear, and then the Israeli prime minister got up and left the press conference. Moreover, as revealed, the green light for the strike was given earlier from within Netanyahu’s hotel room in New York by him.
