On the evening of April 12, at least 40 rocket launches were recorded from Lebanon towards Israel. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket attack on the Galilee Peninsula.
This is reported by: GULL, The Times of Israel.
“After sirens sounded recently in northern Israel, about 40 launches from Lebanese territory were identified, some of which were intercepted. The rest fell in the open area. No casualties have been reported,” the IDF reports.
Earlier in the evening, the IDF air defense system successfully intercepted two explosive Hezbollah UAVs that crossed Lebanese territory and flew into Israeli territory.
Several launches were also detected that crossed Lebanese territory in the direction of Ramot Naftali. No casualties were reported.
Over the past few hours, the IDF has struck a number of populated areas in southern Lebanon in order to eliminate the threat.
The video from the scene shows several Iron Dome interceptor missiles firing at enemy missiles.
