Lebanon Debate: Israeli Drone Incident Raises Questions in Hrajel Area

“Lebanon Debate”

Divine providence prevented a disaster from occurring in the Hrajel area, after an Israeli drone carrying a missile was found, which fell and crashed under the main road in the area. This incident raised many questions about how the missile fell in this Keserwanian town.

In this context, former MP Fares Saeed said in an interview with “Lebanon Debate”: “We call on the representatives of Jbeil and Keserwan to hold an immediate meeting and move towards the relevant authorities, in order to know the details of what happened in the region and what happened the moment the missile fell.”

Saeed asserts that “the Lebanese and the people of the Hrajel region must be reassured, so the region’s representatives must activate their communications and form a political reference to communicate with all concerned parties, in order to uncover the background of what happened.”

He added: “We refuse to include the Keserwan barracks, on the borders of the Jbeil barracks, with the ongoing war in Gaza. Therefore, we are in a safe zone. We do not want to wake up to a disaster, and we also do not want to be easy targets for any party.”

And about the developments in the ongoing war? Saeed believes that “despite the escalation we are witnessing, there is still the possibility that a truce will be reached, especially since there is significant international pressure in this direction, and the activation of the work of the Five-Year Committee in Lebanon is continuing.”
