The city of Koba – Batrou, in Lebanon, became the site of a horrific massacre in which a man murdered 3 members of his family and then turned the gun on himself, ending his own life.
The crime spree began when Johnny Mina, 43, shot and killed his father, Asaad Mina, 66, in the garden of the house.
This was before he entered the house and locked the door, then shot his wife and then his 5-year-old child. After his crime, he committed suicide by shooting himself.
Immediately patrol cars of the Army Intelligence Service, security services and members of the municipality arrived, imposed a security cordon on the spot and started taking the necessary measures.
A coroner also arrived to examine the bodies, before they were taken by Civil Defense and Red Cross ambulances to area hospitals.
According to local media, security forces removed the door of the house at the request of the attacker’s sister to search for her brother and his family after finding her father murdered in the garden.
