Al Diyar has learned that Lebanese TV will not broadcast the World Cup. In the recent negotiations, and after the intervention of Qatar, the amount for the airline was reduced from 6 million dollars to 4.5 million dollars, as the Qataris are in charge of the negotiations with the Lebanese side, which has not been able secure the amount and many solutions were proposed which were not implemented. Noting that President Mikati and Information Minister Makari promised to establish contacts today, but the possibility of their success is very slim in light of the sponsor company’s accession to the amount it specified.
