The “Lebanese Debate” contacted Representative Bilal Al-Hushaimi, who denied the authenticity of what was reported, stressing that he is “ready to attend any presidential election session called for by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, regardless of the names of the candidates, in line with his convictions and with the political context he has adopted since Before the presidential vacancy, that is, in attending all the presidential sessions to which he is called.
Al-Hushaimi, who expressed that he was speaking from a personal standpoint, renewed his call for an agreement between the parliamentary blocs on a middle name that does not constitute a challenge to any party, considering that the head of the “Marada” movement, Suleiman Franjieh, is a challenger for him, just like the head of the “independence” movement, Michel Moawad.
