In response to the post of the Assistant Inspector General of Dar al-Fatwa, Sheikh Hassan Merheb, the former Commissioner of the Military Court, Judge Peter Germanus, wrote in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “The axis of resistance is either its slave, or an Israeli agent.”
He added, “This is the language of treason that is used against the Christians of Lebanon, the same language of atonement that led to the emptying of Iraq, Syria, and Palestine and the reduction of their numbers in both Lebanon and Egypt.”
Germanus concluded, “Then this rude way of speaking is strange.”
