The Lebanese model, Lara Gharawi, underwent a photo session in California, accompanied by her sweetheart, Carrie Rally, and shared the photos with her followers through her account on the social networking site Instagram.
In the past few days, Lara has come out as gay and said: “There is nothing like the feeling of being able to love whoever you want to love – to be accepted as you are. It is an almost indescribable feeling and it breaks my heart that so many have never had this opportunity.”
She added: “I feel very fortunate and grateful to have the ability to be in a place where I can be safe and I hope others will have that opportunity. Please know that whether you are abroad or not, you are not alone, you are loved and you belong here.”
She continued, “However, I cannot believe how long it took me to be myself and I hope it is not too late for me to set the example that girls in the Middle East need. I love you all so much and really love reading all of your messages.”
