The Lebanese Squash Federation concluded the Lebanese General Championship, which it organized at the Mont La Salle Club in Ain Saadeh. The tournament included categories approved by the federation and 45 men and women participated. Here are the first winners:
Class “A” men: Tariq Al-Khatib (Cornersport).
Class B men: Ghassan Suleiman (Mont La Salle).
Class C men: Adam Itani (Al-Ansar).
Women: Nadia Al-Raei (Al-Ansar).
Girls under 17: Danai Abdullah (the audience).
Class A Men’s Cross Squash: Christopher Antioch (Mont LaSalle).
Men’s cross squash class “B”: Ghassan Suleiman (Mont La Salle).
Senior men, 40-49 years old: Peter Bou Aoun (Mont La Salle).
Senior men, 50-59 years old: Shukri Bechara (Mont La Salle).
Senior men, 60 years and older: Mustafa Delbi (Mont La Salle).
The tournament was overseen by Federation Secretary, Roy De Ferro, and assisted by referees, Nazih Zuhairi and Mark Sabbagh. In conclusion, the President of the Federation Marwan Al-Hakim, the President of the Mont La Salle Club Jihad Salameh, the Vice President of the Federation Nabil Tabbara, the Secretary Roy De Ferro, the members of the Federation Joe Khoury and Dhafer Kabbara and the Director of the Center Mont La Salle sportsman Elie Farah handed out medals to the winners.
