The Lebanese artist Elissa responded more than once to critics of the artists’ work in light of the continuing war on Gaza, considering that this is their work and livelihood and they will not stop.
The beginning was with the Lebanese singer holding a concert in Germany a few days ago, and although she began the event by standing for a minute of silence for the lives of the innocent people affected by the fighting between Israel and Hamas, the attack on her did not stop.
Elissa returned and responded to her critics through her accounts on social networking sites, especially the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), as she pointed out that despite the war, the engineer, doctor, and lawyer did not stop their work, and therefore the artists will not stop because this is their work and their livelihood, as she said.
The artist asked her critics not to outbid her and directed harsh criticism at them, describing them as “failures.” She concluded by saying: “No one should outbid us in our patriotism.”
The artist Elissa recently released her new song “The Contract” on her official channel on the famous video site YouTube, and a number of music platforms.
