Lebanese Army Rescues Journalists at Al-Abad Site: Latest Updates and Details

Al-Manar correspondent, Ali Shuaib, wrote in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “The Lebanese army went to the vicinity of the “Al-Abad” site to rescue a number of journalist colleagues who were trapped near the site, which is also adjacent to the site of the international UNIFIL forces.”

The National Agency reported that the Lebanese army succeeded in pulling the journalists stranded near the Israeli Al-Abad site to a safe place.

It is noteworthy that information from “Lebanon Debate” indicated that “6 foreign journalists and 3 Lebanese journalists are besieged near the Israeli Al-Abad site in the vicinity of the town of Hula, and Israeli forces are opening fire around the place where the journalists are located to prevent their departure.”

The information added, “The Lebanese side is making contact with the international emergency forces to pressure Israel to allow ambulances to transport the trapped people.”

“Lebanon Debate” information confirmed that “among the besieged Lebanese were two wounded and the third may have been martyred near Tallet al-Abad.”
