Lebanese: Al-Borg strengthens the lead and Al-Najma wins over Tripoli
Al-Borg SC consolidated their first place in the Lebanese Football League, beating Al-Ahly Aley 2-0 on Saturday in the sixth round of the league.
Al-Borg Club opened the scoring in the first half of the match, of the young striker Mohamed Sadek.
In the second half the two teams exchanged possession and opportunity, and Stefano Sarfo managed to score the second goal of the tower (80’s).
With this victory, Al-Burj reached the 18th point at the top of the standings, and Al-Akhaa was left without points in the last place.

In another match of the same round, Al-Najma defeated Tripoli 2-0.
The two teams exchanged possession and opportunity in the first half, but the result remained the same until the end of the first round (0-0).
In the second half of the match, Al-Najma opened the scoring in the 48th minute of Obaid Al-Halabi (one goal against an own goal) and Khalil Badr added the second goal for his team (71 ‘).
With this victory, Al-Najma reached 13th point in 4th place, and Tripoli’s balance froze at one point at 11th place.
