The Lebanese actress, Laila Abdullah, was ridiculed and bullied by some of her followers, after she spontaneously published pictures of her without a filter and without applying makeup.
Laila Abdullah commented on the photo, saying: “The feeling of accomplishment .. I just finished the second dive on the ice and this time I conquered it for 16 minutes .. It’s an incredible achievement and I couldn’t be happier.”
Many comments were made that carried a lot of ridicule because of her appearance without a filter, while the rest of the followers attacked those comments for being bullied for her natural appearance without resorting to plastic surgery that spoils the appearance of the artists, according to their expression.
And some defended Laila Abdullah: “If you fix his game with it, play it, and you hurt it, and you become a copy of so-and-so.. And if you remain on the creation of the Lord of the Worlds, you bully. Even the words of God guide you.”
In the same context, the Lebanese artist published a video of her through her personal account on Snapchat, in which she talked about the matter, noting that bullying campaigns had increased during the recent period, which prompted her to talk.
She made it clear that she would not resort to applying a filter or cosmetics to hide her skin imperfections in order to please some, especially since she completely accepts her shape and is reconciled with it.
And she continued, saying: “Negative comments in which you bully people because of a natural image of her home without filters or Photoshop. There is something to satisfy you.”
Laila Abdullah confirmed her acceptance of her appearance, even if there was something disturbing her, commenting: “I and I love myself, and I am one of the people who are satisfied with themselves and accept their true form, even if there is something that disturbs them.”
And she stressed the importance of awareness campaigns against bullying, especially to give motivation to young girls to give up using filters because of their lack of self-confidence, saying: “These awareness campaigns benefit girls, especially young girls. I do not want to see young girls wearing makeup or filters because they do not accept their appearance. They have to grow up.”
And she pointed out that she does not consider herself a perfect person, but she loves to appear in her natural appearance, saying: I am not a robot and I am not ideal.
She indicated that she does not care about the opinion of those who commented negatively on her image, but the idea of bullying annoys her, stressing that women must love themselves: “They tell me, Laila, why do you care about them? “.
