Philippe Coutinho was judged to have made a mistake when leaving Liverpool. Now, Coutinho can prove the decision to be a blessing even though it is not easy.
Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018 to costumed Barcelona. After several months of departure from the Brazilian midfielder, Liverpool even advanced to the Champions League final, but did not end up as champions after losing to Real Madrid.
The following season Liverpool met Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals and there was Coutinho as an opponent. Coutinho was able to puff out his chest when Barca beat Liverpool 0-3 at Camp Nou in the first meeting. However, it was little doom for Coutinho when Barca were rewarded with a 0-4 defeat and failed to make it to the final.
Liverpool also went to the final for the second time in succession. The Reds met Tottenham Hotspur and came out as champions. Liverpool’s success dragged Coutinho into a mockery on social media at the time.
Not a few football players to observers think Coutinho regrets leaving Liverpool. This is in line with Barcelona’s decision to loan Coutinho to Bayern Munich on August 19, 2019.

The victory continued to make Bayern into the final until they became champions after defeating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0. This trophy also marks that Coutinho is only one season late from Liverpool to experience “Big Ear”.
Coutinho has even won a greater achievement than Liverpool this season, namely the treble winner. Bayern had previously won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal.
Liverpool this season has only won the Premier League title. Barcelona is more tragic by closing the 2019/2020 season without a title.
