TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The good news comes from the South Korean tech giant, namely Samsung. In the upcoming February 2022, Samsung will release its newest flagship Samsung Galaxy S22.
Samsung has indicated that it will leave the Samsung Galaxy Note series which is also a favorite for its users.
The announcement was made directly by Samsung Electronics’ President & Head of MX Business, TM Roh, in a post on the company’s official blog.
“At the Unpacked event in February 2022, we will introduce you to the most important S series device we have ever made,” said TM Roh.
“Unpacked Event” itself refers to Samsung’s launch event for its latest flagship smartphone. Although it does not refer to the name Samsung Galaxy S22, next month’s Unpacked event is believed to contain the launch of the cellphone considering that Samsung usually releases their flagship at the beginning of the year.

The Galaxy Note series itself has not been released by Samsung in the past year. Instead, Samsung provided the S Pen stylus technology feature typical of the Galaxy Note series to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and their foldable cellphone Galaxy Z Fold 3.
However, over time, their flagship series Galaxy S has an even bigger screen. The specification differentiation between the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S is getting thinner, where the difference is only limited to the presence of the S Pen.
To date, it is unclear whether the S Pen will be awarded to the draw Galaxy S22 non-Ultra. However, Roh claims that the new smartphone will be equipped with a good video and camera as well as the ability to be used with power, speed, and tools that cannot be found in other types of smartphones.
