Alaa Mubarak, the son of the late President Hosni Mubarak, launched a strong attack on Hamas Political Bureau member Musa Abu Marzouk, accusing the movement of political failure and igniting the region in a wide-ranging war with countless consequences.

Alaa Mubarak said in a post on his personal page on the social networking site “X” that “Egypt has never been late in supporting and helping the cause of Palestine, and throughout history the issue has to be the center of the leadership of Egypt, which stands with the need to establish an independent, sovereign state of Palestine, and that the Palestinians would have their legitimate rights.

He said: “Egypt does not accept the extravagant and cheap claims of Abu Marzouq Effendi, and for him to come out to us at this time to prove his failure to others after igniting the region with a war that he has not worked out what it is, it is strange that he came out to direct accusations against Egypt and that Egypt cannot consider itself a neutral mediator while as the Palestinian people are against murder.” Continuous!

He continued: “Who caused these murders? And it was Egypt that signed the Camp David Accords!”

He explained: “And as long as you don’t like the place of Egypt and the workers, you make accusations and question the place of Egypt, well, we have some blood due to the difficult conditions and hard and the ongoing crimes of the occupying forces, and we are silent because of the murders that are happening and how thousands of martyrs, children and civilians, fell in cold blood without any guilt, and said here we are. ”This is not the right time to talk about anything other than solidarity with all the resistance groups; talk about your actions against Egypt and how you were involved in crimes against our martyred soldiers in Sinai during the month of Ramadan, while you proceed with all mischief and resourcefulness to accusations against Egypt.

Abu Marzouk had stated in press reports that “Egypt’s duty is to work towards a ceasefire, and that it has specific obligations in the Gaza Strip that it must fulfill in order to stop these murders,” as Egypt is able to achieve a cease-fire in Gaza within one day.
