For decades people have been campaigning for a socio-ecological change. Some have chosen the path of education and try to drive this change forward. One example of this is the One World Forum, which has designed various workshops to bring global learning closer to school classes and other groups. Despite all the offers for global learning, the desired success has so far not been achieved. In order to find out why we are still a few steps away from the goal and to enable education consultants to exchange ideas, the One World Forum organized a learning workshop on the subject of “Education for a socio-ecological change”. Last weekend the starting shot was fired for this learning workshop, which in the following year will focus on how change can take place through education. Now an interview on this topic with Barbara Ehrensberger, education officer of the One World Forum and organizer of the learning workshop.
