ALSFELD (ol). Learn German for free, accompanied by a trained teacher and volunteer language sponsors: this has been possible for ten years in the self-study center of the Evangelical Dean’s Office Vogelsberg. Although the rooms have to be closed in lockdown, the offer will continue – online.
“We now start our learning times on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 pm with a joint learning unit in a video conference,” reports Tilla Lotz, trainer for German as a foreign language in the Evangelical Dean’s Office. Thereafter, the learning offer is continued in individual work or small groups. So from the press release of the dean’s office.
Depending on their level of knowledge, the learners receive tasks that are corrected and discussed directly by the trainer and her staff. “In this way we can provide direct feedback on the learning success,” emphasizes Lotz. In addition to video conferencing, various communication channels and messenger services such as mail and Whatsapp are used technically.
