The case came to light thanks to Anny De Trindade, a Venezuelan communicator who points out that since 2020 she has been harassed by this woman, known as the ‘El Hatillo stalker’, in the municipality belonging to the Miranda State, Venezuela.
“I never thought I would have to do this thread. But I think the time has come: I am tired of Rebeca Garcia’s sexual harassment and I am tired of the law protecting her just because she is a woman. Rebeca is a woman who has dedicated her life to harassing innocent women.
“Since approximately 2020, this woman has called me from different phone numbers, written on Instagram, insists on sending me gifts to my work and even left me beautiful mountain graffiti,” Anny has published on her Twitter account, now X .
Rebeca García’s harassment of her victims also includes illegal entry into private properties, harassing them, chasing them by car, and even threatening to kill them.
“Rebeca not only ‘appears’, she follows you through fake accounts, she writes to you on Twitter, text messages, Instagram, email, (…) threatening you, exposing terrifying fantasies and macabre thoughts,” De Trindade added.
According to people who have known Rebeca García since she went to school, this woman suffers from a personality limit, a mental situation that has been aggravated by drug use and that has not been enough to address even with constant admissions to psychiatric hospitals. For this reason, the Venezuelan police have not taken legal action against the ‘El Hatillo stalker’ either.
The local press even reports that Rebeca has a brother, Francisco, who is also accused of molesting minors, taking photographs of them and then publishing them on social networks.
