Learn about the Ottawa Hospital’s master plan for the new Civic Campus

The City will hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday, June 29 to present the master plan for the development of the new Civic campus of the Ottawa Hospital and to gather feedback from community members.

The Ottawa Hospital plans to open its new Civic Campus in 2028. The facility will then become one of the largest state-of-the-art hospitals in Canada and offer its services to the populations of Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, from western Quebec and Nunavut.

The master plan provides for ten stages. The first three stages include preparing the site for construction which will begin in Stage 4, which will begin in 2024 and end in 2028. The master plan will be submitted for approval to the Committee of ‘town planning and City Council at the end of this summer. Once the master plan is approved, The Ottawa Hospital will submit applications for site plan regulations for the City’s review and approval.
