The Departmental Health Service (Sedes) reported that there will be vaccination points enabled for the Corpus Christi holiday (this Thursday), and urged the population to go to them for the respective immunization dose.
The peak of infections of the fifth wave of covid-19 is getting closer and health authorities affirm that the most effective mechanism of protection is vaccination.
It is because of that insist on timely diagnosis and completion of the vaccination schedule. For this, they will enable this holiday immunization points so that the population can take advantage of the day.
In the north zone there are four, in the Lazareto health center, in San Antonio, in the health center of Municipal District 5 and on October 10. While in the downtown area, they will be attending Elvira Wünderlich and San Carlos.
As for the hours, most will start care from 07:30 to 19:30. The requirement for adults is only the identity card; minors also need the authorization of their parents or guardians.
It should be remembered that epidemiological week 23, that is, from June 5 to 11, closed with more than 1,000 confirmed cases. What worries the health authorities, because after 13 weeks the department returned to present more than a thousand contagions in seven days.
